Food stop on the way to Key West. Our hosts have been here plenty of times and suggested we stop for a quick bite. We were shown to a table right away and sat down to peruse the menu. Ahhh they had my favorite beer Kona brewing "Longboard" so we started on the right foot. From there things got better. Our waiter Josh from Illinois was great, he really did go above and beyond and is an asset to this establishment. We settled on our food orders. A mahi mahi-mahi sandwich with sides, a seafood stuffed mushrooms and for myself the conch fritters and a wedge salad. The wedge salad really hit the spot. Conch fritters were delicious and served with a sweet Thai chili sauce. The stuffed mushrooms were creamy and delicious. Very happy our friends chose to stop here. Definitely worth the the trip.

Was just Ok I would not go back wagu sliders cheap and dry only ate 2 out of the 3
Coconut shrimps was average totally frozen then to the frier would not order again very pricey.
Service was great and the place is very clean just wished the food was a little better - not saying the other stuff is bad as they have a big menu -

Went during lobsterfest it was the last day I think, there were four of us and for only a few people being there service was super slow. The guys had some questions about the fish of the day and he never came back with the answers just if we were ready to order. I had the lobster bisque and I wouldn't recommend it, it was oddly sweet. If I knew the bread bowl was going to be half hard as a rock and half mushy I would've passed on the $2 upgrade. Husband and son said there fish was ok but could've been a bigger piece than a sample and my sons gf's sandwich was just ok. Second round of beers slow. Getting the check was like pulling teeth I asked but then he started making drinks then cleaning tables. We had a 4 hour drive and just wanted to leave. Lunch shouldn't take 2 hours. The family went to the truck and I stood at the bar waiting to pay. Won't be back.

We wanted grouper and knew we would get some here. I had the Miami vice and RJ had vodka and sprite. I ordered the Cuban salad with blackened grouper and he had the Caesar salad with blackened grouper. It was delicious as always. I've lost track of how many times we've been here, but it's one of our regular stops. I also enjoy the salt scrub they have in the ladies room. One of these trips I'll buy a jar!

Ducked in a week ago late night and had a great time, here's why:
* It was late, we were hungry, they were open
* Professional and polite
* Excellent food
* Fire pit
* Live music that was awesome
* Good, locals energy
* Fairly priced
* Awesome footprint
They would have earned that coveted, 5th star, but they tried to ask us (party of 7) to move not once, not twice, but 3 times. We shut that down.
Awesome, regardless. I will be back, and I will elevate you all, I promise. I am going to spending a lot of time in Big Pine Key in the coming weeks and months so good times.
Good stuff, Cabeza OUT!
